

Change. I affirm that a change in the education of XXIth century is necessary. The society evolves to a fast rate, imposing new models in which the ancestors cannot take care of their children. In some cases nor so at least they wish to become position of them, declining all the responsibility to educate them in the professionals of education. But, simultaneously, these are badly considered by society. Reproaching to this group an excess of vacations, a carelessness as far as scholastic discipline... And the family, what measures are taken in front of the indiscipline of their children? More permissivity! They are the ones responsible of education, they say; they are payed for that reason! They do not notice that the education is a joint task of parents and educators in which all must go to one; without exception. I am talking about confidence. The tutor trusted the educator completely. Nowadays parents beat or complain about the educator, simply because they believe what their children said instead of trust in the educator. They grant total confidence to a human being who is learning to settle down a conduct criterion; to a child who will assimilate that any behavior is possible because its family does not put limits to him. Terrible error. Often child put us on approval to establish the limits that must follow in its daily behavior: “what it can and cannot be done”. And we thought that he tries to know to where our permissivity or patience arrives. We are letting pass certain unacceptable behaviors until finally arrives the punishment. Sometimes the boy needs the punishment to know the limits that their tutors impose to him in his daily coexistence with other resemblances. If the family declines the responsibility to punish their children (for many reasons; among them the feeling of not dedicating the necessary time to them because of the professional activity of both ancestors, due to economical reasons) it will be taken by educators.
Thus we will not arrive very far. The professionals of education will emigrate towards other professions, wich are also able to do and better considered and better paid and less stressing than education. Perhaps we finish in Spain as in our neighboring country: France, where the great majority of professors are emigrants since the society infravalued the education and professionals some time ago. And thus no one wants to be a teacher.
